LVMWD Celebrates International Women's Day with Community Partners
On Wednesday, March 4, community leaders and residents will gather for the 3rd Annual International Women’s Day Luncheon — an afternoon dedicated to empowerment, inspiration, and celebrating the women who serve our communities every day.
Hosted by Las Virgenes Municipal Water District in partnership with the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and the City of Agoura Hills, this year’s luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Agoura Hills Event Center.
The program will feature a keynote address from Brittany Hope of NBC4 News, who will share insights from her professional journey and reflect on the power of storytelling, leadership, and resilience. Attendees will also hear from Dr. Megha Agarwal of UCLA Health, who will deliver an important address focused on women’s health and wellness.
In alignment with this year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” the event will honor three inspiring leaders whose work embodies service and impact: Beth Pratt and Lauren Gill of the National Wildlife Federation, and Alison Eastwood of the Eastwood Ranch Foundation. Their dedication to conservation, wildlife protection, and community stewardship reflects the spirit of giving back to create lasting change.
The luncheon promises an engaging afternoon of connection, shared stories, and celebration — highlighting how collaboration, leadership, and generosity strengthen our entire community.
We look forward to coming together to honor the remarkable women who inspire us all.
